I’m so fortunate! This is how I feel… and this is how this post is going to start… I feel fortunate that I not only got to capture Alex and Darren for their engagement session… but I get to be their wedding photographer come June 25th!! The best part? Darren is my friend’s brother, and my friends are going to be at the wedding!! Yay! The icing on the (wedding) cake? Alex & Darren decided to do a First Look [where they opted to see each other prior to the wedding ceremony, get their bride & groom portraits taken before the ceremony along with a few of the bridal party , and in turn have lots of time to party after the ceremony]… double yay!!

Now back to Alex & Darren… the morning of their engagement session, it was literally 45 degrees out! And yes, we live in south Florida! It was crazy cold… Alex in her gorgeous, purple chiffon dress (I mean you can’t get thinner than chiffon)… Darren strapping and handsome (cold, but playing it cool)… my assistant/hubby & adorable bystander Kyler (Darren’s son) (waiting for his turn in front of the camera)… all of us freezing… like I can’t feel my finger tips and nose kind of Freezing!…  and yet, we had an amazing engagement session & they played it “hot” so it didn’t even look cold in the pictures…  Alex & Darren had me swooning behind my camera… with the gorgeous lighting perfectly kissing their faces and lighting their eyes… and all the canoodling & the laughter between the adorable engaged couple… their love was just so apparent… with us, during the session… in my camera… and now in these images… I know you’ll feel the love… the excitement… and the joy they share… hope you enjoy!
