They had class together… and the first day of class, Mike walked in and said hi to the only person in class at the time… instead of a hello back, Jackie made a phone a call — and completely ignored the greeting — or she just didn’t hear him depending on who tells the story 😉 several classes later, they finally got to talking… and talking lead to late night study sessions at Panera Bread… then studying turned into dating… and one evening on the beach, Mike found a bottle on the shore… he said they should check it out to which Jackie refused because who knows where it’s been! After some cajoling, Jackie finally picked up the bottle & unwrapped the message inside… not only did she unwrap the message, but she unwrapped a promise that Mike had written to her… and with that promise…and sweet proposal…she said yes!

Jackie called me five minutes after I emailed her back about her inquiry… we were both giggling with excitement… she was excited that she found her photographer (me!!)…and I was excited, she was so excited!… especially because she wanted to book me, prior to even booking her venue!… I felt so very special being the first wedding vendor she booked… if this moment had a medal, it would be sitting on my night stand… there for me to look at before I go to bed… Just so awesome!

Thank you Jackie & Mike for loving me and my work before we even met… you made me a very happy wedding photographer… you are just one of those couples I could shoot for hours and hours… oh, wait… I did!
