Meet Eric — class of 2013… people my age – those perpetually stuck in their 20s, go ahead — roll your eyes at the sound of 2013!…other high schoolers? get ready to swoon at this quarterback… Eric is a senior at Ferndale High School in Michigan… this young man is bright, athletic, handsome and is surrounded by amazing family… family, I’ve come to know as my own family…Eric’s aunt Maggie, just happens to be my best friend (since 6th grade)… and her sister asked me to take his senior pictures when I was visiting… (yay! cuz I love shooting in Michigan!)

Now people who say “I’ve known him since he was just this big!” — usually feel pretty old after… well, it’s true though… I’ve known Eric since he was a baby! (Insert – feeling old) And thinking about him as a senior in high school — makes me feel like somebody hit the foreword button on their DVR 3 or 4 times… life has flown by, lightning fast! Anyways, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to shoot his senior pictures… the weather was a bit too hot for Michigan, but the lighting and the clouds — were perfect! Even though getting pictures taken isn’t his favorite thing to do, Eric did a great job flashing us his killer smile…so thank you, Eric, for suffering through the pictures! Although, I think I overheard you tell your mom at the end that it wasn’t that bad 😉 (If you know a high school senior, send them my way! Thank you!) Now enjoy the previews!
