So, it’s been very quiet over here on the blog for months… but behind the scenes it’s been far from quiet… it’s actually been my busiest wedding season to date! Which I’m ever grateful for!! Because I was busy shooting and editing… and shooting some more this spring, I kind of put blogging on the back burner =/ But what better way to break the ice than to do a personal post on our gender reveal session!! AND in case you missed the announcement — we’re PREGNANT!! I’m currently 21 weeks today — half way there!! Other than the first trimester of nausea and sheer exhaustion, I’ve been really enjoying my pregnancy… and mainly because I’m so in love (already) with the little itty baby that’s growing inside of me… it’s just an absolute miracle! We can’t wait to meet our baby come December!!

Anyways, a few weeks ago we got the result for the gender of our baby… being our first baby, we wanted to capture the moment we found out — hence the gender reveal session =) My awesome friend, Brenda, picked up the results and gathered all the props she wanted for the shoot… then she decorated the backdrop for our session (while toting her newborn around in the baby carrier)! (Awesome friend I tell ya!)

Amazing photographer and friend, Kenneth from Thompson Photography Group (along with the help of Scott) captured our reactions!! They got there early and helped Brenda out… then waited for us to arrive… the pictures below tell the rest of the story… along with the gender of our baby!! Enjoy!!

We’re having a boy!!! And for the record — I knew it was a boy the whole time!! I guess you can say a mother’s intuition =)
