If you’re new to my blog, then you haven’t met my niece — Maliha… If you’re a regular reader — then you’ve seen my niece many times before… she’s quickly become the apple of my eye… I mean, don’t get me wrong — I LOVE all of my 3 nephews equally… but I’ve been loving on them for 8 years… almost 9 nine years of playing with little trucks… buying boy clothes… watching Thomas the Train… and just doing everything boys… although I didn’t quite escape all the boy stuff since my niece is a little tomboy… She prefers playing with trucks instead of baby dolls… likes to wrestle with her brothers… and doesn’t like anything in her hair…

But this is exactly the reason why I want to kidnap her and bring her back to Florida… I love how rambunctious and tough she is… she trips and falls, and gets right back up for more!… she’s daring and adventurous… loves “Go, DI GOGO!” (Go, Diego Go!)…can count to 10… speaks in sentences… and she’s also very sweet and loving… and I can buy adorable little girly clothes for her! Which is so hard not to do when I walk past the little girls section at Target…

I thought I’d post the image below to perk up your Monday and hopefully bring a smile to your face after a somber end to our weekend with sad memories of 9/11… this is Maliha squealing with delight… with her super sonic high-pitch squeal… I was playing peek-a-boo behind my camera and she was just loving it! Another reason why I love her so… at this age, it’s so easy to entertain her… Happy Monday!
