Joe & Laura were such an adorable couple… I was so delighted not only to have second shot this wedding with my photographer friend, Frank of My Bald Photographer  — but also delighted that my husband, Dave, came along to help out and to experience second shooting with another photographer… we met the bride & groom at the Boca Resort for their First Look and to snap as many pictures of the family as we could before the ceremony… I always love it when a couple opts for a First Look — which is when the bride & groom see each other before the ceremony… they have a special moment all to themselves… and afterwards, their bride and groom portraits are taken… couples who choose a first look always say how much they loved it and how they were much more relaxed the rest of the wedding day… this also allows them time to enjoy cocktail hour…

Frank asked me to focus on the details of the wedding and to get different angles from him… my favorite wedding detail of the day was Laura’s wedding gown — because it was the same gown her mom wore on her wedding day… with only a little bit of tweaking needed, it transformed into Laura’s beautiful wedding gown… it was awesome to work with such a sweet couple… hope you enjoy the pictures!
