Last week Dave and I just got back from our two week vacation & from our ROAD TRIP! We love road trips! Especially ones where there’s no agenda or schedule but to simply drive and explore… that’s how our road trip started… we literally started driving — looked on the map, and then decided where we wanted to go… we gave ourselves about 4 days to get to Michigan, which was one of two mandatory stops… the second mandatory stop was in New Jersey before we headed home…

Instead of rambling every last detail of our trip… I thought I’d just share iPhone pictures from our travels northbound… if you follow me on Instagram or on Facebook — you may have seen some of the images already… if not — then enjoy! And happy Monday!

We left our house Sunday morning… after an hour we decided on our first stop — Blue Spring State Park… since I’ve never been to a spring in Florida…

Tropical storm Debby (downer) rained on our springs parade…

we only stayed long enough to walk the premise & grab a few pictures… the water was too cold to swim in & they wouldn’t allow canoeing because of the weather…

we decided to stay on the east cost of Florida while heading north so we wouldn’t collide into Debby…

but we did anyways…

we stayed the night in Savannah, Georgia…

and had AMAZING food!

The next day we had lunch with our friend Matt!

Then off to the edge of Georgia to explore Cloudland Canyon State Park…

which was breathtaking!!

we hiked and explored for a couple of hours & stayed the night in Chattanooga…

then we drove about 5-6 hours to Cincinnati where we got to visit our good friends! random fact – Cincinnati is the capitol of bed bugs! Of course I made Dave check & thankfully there were no bed bugs in our hotel room!

Wednesday morning we made it to Michigan!

and immediately ambushed by my 3 nephews and niece!
