A few weeks ago my sister, Annaliza, text me for some help… apparently she was cornered by the kids and needed help… this is how our text conversation went:

Annaliza: Kids saw infomercial for some helicopter and now they want it for Christmas… when it’s two easy payments for a toy, it’s too much… told them not buying it… they said they’ll ask Santa for it…

Me: Lol tell them Santa only buys expensive toys for boys that are good — All the time!

Annaliza: Great, James said “Duh Mama, Santa doesn’t spend money at all! His elves make the toys! So it’s free!!”  Now both boys jumping up and down saying they’ll ask Santa for two! Do I tell them there’s no Santa?

Me: LOL no don’t tell them that! Good luck with that battle though!

Her oldest son, James, continues with the keen observation that all his toys from Santa seem to say “Made In China”… which means, the elves must be Chinese… my sister is in tears from laughter at his innocent conclusion… James then turns to her annoyed, and told her “Mama, it’s not nice to laugh at the elves because their Chinese”… and at this point, she apologizes to him and just retreats to the other room to call me… we both get an awesome laugh! I told her I had to blog this — it was too cute not to share =)

This is what the kids were drooling over… my sister now knows what channel the kids should NOT be watching…
