Yesterday was one of those days where I did not want to get out of bed… I hit snooze a few times… curled up under my blanket, until I had to face the day…so finally I got up… but with my feet dragging all the way to my office… a lot of it was due to my workout instructor on Wednesday, who I adore… and loathe… all at the same time… her classes are like walking in to boot camp, and you didn’t even know you signed up for it!… she will work you until your muscles cry… that’s the loathe part… adore? because she works you until your muscles cry… but you leave the gym feeling like you could kick somebody’s butt — because you leave feeling strong! And feeling fierce!! Now the next morning? After that intense workout? Not so much… every part of your body aches! and muscles you didn’t even know you had, are soooore! But I go back for more… because I’m a glutton for punishment… or because I finally found the motivation… and the time to work on my fitness (insert me – hi-fiving myself)…

Forgot where I was going with that, but NOW I remember! Yes, I didn’t want to get out of bed yesterday… No two cups of coffee could jolt life into me for some reason… it was just one of those days where you have ZERO energy, that or I’m coming down with something… anyways, when my husband came home he noticed the dreary cloud over my head — or the look on my face which usually expresses everything that I’m feeling… so to cheer me up, he suggested we take our new lighting equipment out and do some shooting… AND grab a cupcake from Sugarchef on the way home… yes, that perked me up… I mean the shooting alone would have been great… but the cupcake bit was an extra nice treat… plus it was a beautiful evening last night which could have  passed for a “cool” Florida evening… “cool” meaning — no humidity… regardless, it was a beautiful evening…and my husband gets 100 “awesome husband” points for being so sweet to me… even when I’m being crabby…

and since a post is better accompanied with a photo… here’s a shot I took last night that I fell in love with… I think I’m going to order a large canvas of this and hang it above our bed… and on that note, have a great Friday & an even better weekend!
