When I met Kelisha for the first time, we sat at Starbucks for nearly two hours… chit chatting away about her upcoming wedding… all the details she’d already planned… about work… her fiance… and how they met… I giggled when she told me she met Aaron playing on a kickball team — because that’s how I met MY husband! Well, my husband didn’t play kickball — but he was friends of a friend who played — and so our paths crossed and now we’re married =)

Back to Kelisha and Aaron, they met through kickball… and I learned that they’re actually die hard kickball players… die hard, meaning Kelisha played on two teams… while Aaron played for three teams — playing three times a week… AND… they’re great at it because their team won the championship! So back to Starbucks… we met…I fell in love with Kelisha… because she was just so cute and we shared many things in common… like organizing, planning, & laughing… and I love it! This was a year before her wedding — and she had everything nearly planned out…

Now when I posted Kelisha & Aaron’s teaser, I called it a “rawr” session…. because well… I captured a lot of “rawr” moments… like the image below… someone posted on Facebook that you could almost feel the heat between them! And in between these moments, we got to share lots of “roarous” laughter… thanks to Aaron, the comedian in the relationship =) So all in all, it was an amazing session… and I felt like the luckiest photographer, because we get to do this all over again — next year, for their wedding day =) Hope you enjoy their previews…

I admit, this was my fault… I gave Aaron permission to tackle her… but I didn’t think he would really, truly tackle her down to the ground! But it’s ok, because it made for awesome shots!! And she forgave him =)
